Who we are
The Cerami’s family history in New Mexico dates back to the mid-1970s, when they relocated from the Bronx and opened a neighborhood deli at Juan Tabo and Menaul in 1976. A second location followed in 1984 on the Westside at Coors and Alameda. For decades, the family deli served more than 30 classic sandwiches—including meatball subs and Reubens—alongside an imported grocery section and a full-service deli counter offering freshly sliced meats and cheeses. The Juan Tabo location closed in 1992, with the Westside deli continuing operations until 2008.
Inspired to carry that legacy forward, Cerami launched Cibo Truck Experience, drawing directly from his family’s recipes, deli culture, and a love for classic sandwiches.
Cibo Truck Experience, owned and operated by Albuquerque native Frankie Cerami, serves deli-inspired sandwiches rooted in family tradition and East Coast flavor.
